Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has announced 1624 new vacancies for the recruitment of Constables, Sub-Inspectors, Assistant Sub-Inspectors and its Law and Order Executive Staff 2026.
This recruitment is open to both male and female with Pakistani citizenship, with seats distributed under federal and provincial or regional quotas.
The department has announced 1540 vacancies for constables, 60 for sub-inspectors and 24 for assistant sub-inspectors.

Qualification Requirements:
Education: Matriculation is required for the post of Constable, BA, BSc or equivalent qualification from a recognized university is required for the posts of Sub-Inspector (BS-14) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-11).
Age Limit:
The age limit for both males and females for all three categories is 18 to 25 years. Islamabad Police (ICT) has clearly stated that candidates will not get any relaxation in age, height or chest requirements. The department will calculate the age as per the last date, 02 September 2026.
Physical Requirements
- Male candidates should be at least 5 feet 07 inches tall,
- Female candidates should be at least 5 feet 02 inches tall.
- The required chest measurement for male candidates is 33 inches with an expansion of up to 34.5 inches.
- There is also a running test. Male candidates have to complete a mile in 7 minutes, while female candidates get 10 minutes.

Applicants must apply online only through the official recruitment portal at npftas.pk or islamabadpolice.gov.pk.
Islamabad Police (ICT) will not accept applications submitted by hand, courier or any other offline method. Applicants are also not required to submit hard copies of their educational documents at the initial application stage.
Candidate will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2,000 per post.
